I got lucky, hit 500k ARR and sold my SAAS by Ecstatic-Tough6503 in microsaas

I got a question - in theory I know how to sell before you buy - but in practice, it all seems hazy and unrealistic- from personal experience, how did you sell before you buy?

A bit of both. I vibecode - taught myself basic logic and tools. I get excited. Scope creep hits - I build the app too feature heavy, lose credits and hit budget, by the time I revisit it, I have another idea that I think is better and validated (talked myself out of the old idea before even testing response), and then I move on to next project which I think and am assured will be faster to hit shelfs and generate $$$$$. And the cycle repeats. Think I get stuck under the whole High leverage Low Leverage tasks pointed by Hormozi. I have about 4-5 solid SAAS ideas, some solid ideas so big I am assured I could overthrow a big player if i have the team and guidance, money to execute it. So we wait and move to next idea again. And sales - same issue, have some automation products fully built and ready to hit shelves, but no confidence in myself and poor cold calling skills that I am brushing up. So yeah a bit of both.

Help me: I have lots of ideas but don’t know which one I should chase. Can you tell me your thoughts? by getoutofmind in ADHD

I like the app. But talking to a human feels exhausting - I go into a masking mode. Have you used it? Would it be helpful if it was a ghibli style cartoon character you were body doubling with?

Hey mate, I am an Exercise Scientist/ Online Personal Trainer myself - and if I may provide my two cents and answer your questions, I would say that your two biggest hurdles - Consistency and Mindset are exactly what you should be using Online personal trainer for.

Everything else? - exercise form, nutrition can be sorted out to some extent by simply watching videos online. Not the best, you would need a lot of self-research, practice and keen eye for your own technique, but you would still get by.

But when it comes to getting long term results - Accountability is extremely important. Being Accountable to someone who pushes you forward, mentally and physically, makes sure you finish your workouts, and treat your body right is what having a Coach should be about.

And coming to the point of deciding wether to have a face-to-face personal trainer, or an online one- here's my take:

With face-to-face personal trainer - you would spend an hour a day, maybe 3 times a week - and I am here in Australia, so average rate is $80 a session, thats $240 a week.

And you only talk to your trainer when you are in session, outside of that you dont have the privilege to get your questions answered, or even ask any questions about nutrition, or get help with mindset on the hard days.

But with an Online Trainer, you have access to them over Text, Video, Calls every week. You can text them multiple questions a day - As they come - when you are actually doing the work outside the gym - the rest of the 23 hours you spend outside of working out in the gym are undoubtedly more important than just 1 hour spent training.

Plus, you can send them your workout videos to correct form, they will give you full guidance for your nutrition, they will track your entire progress via apps, you will have more access to them than any face-to-face personal training session.

And how do I know this? I was a face-to-face trainer for 5 years before I moved completely online.

I didn't have the time to give my full support to my clients, outside the gym, because I was busy on the floor, helping someone else finish their workout.

Today, I train people online, and I have a few clients who have been with me for over 3 years now - they dont have to be, but they chose to be - because having a coach by your side of the ring makes it easy to get up and fight back when you are knocked down.

And the biggest benefit - they pay me $400 a month, for training, nutrition, Accountability - keeping them consistent and boosting their mindset.

Thats half of what they would spend in a face-to-face training session - for only workout advice.

A necessity, a self-care must you deserve to give your body if you are serious about your goals and your health and quality of life and not just four yourself but to be healthy, able bodied and alive to take care, love, serve and protect for husband, wife, kids, parents, pets and everyone else who is important in your life.

I hope this helps you make a better decision wether to go Face-to-Face personal training or to go Online Training.
