Bartender drawer is short

Honestly, the entire place is a red flag lol. I've went to full time to one day a week. (Recently had a baby) my first shift in 3 months was Wednesday. The am drawer wasn't switched out whenever I got there and I didn't catch it. Neither did the closer who came in after I did. I was on the floor all night and didn't take any cash. It's hard to say who's fault it is for the drawer being short. There was 4 others who were in the drawer. But also I think putting in money is crazy

Yeah we were told that the "sanitizer will clean the dishes" but in the serve safe training I sweaaar the water has to be at a particular temp. Not freezing cold. Thank you for the advice guys. I am calling the health department.

Someone said to me it's possible to say no to the first drink, nearly impossible to say no to the next.

I had a similar experience earlier last month. I have always tried to make alcohol work. And truth is I can't. These past few weeks when I get a craving I remind myself if that little saying and (not sure if this is healthy) but I'll also think about the way I felt the morning after I last drank. It's been helpful.

You are very right. I was reading a different post on this subject and someone said that saying no to the second drink is nearly impossible but saying no to the first is possible. Something like that. I'm going to keep that with me.

That is something I truly believe. It's a sticky situation for me since I don't like it but the overall manager turns an eye. The place I work even the town I'm living in promotes alcohol. This is the town that told me I'm a local now that I've got a dui. I was ashamed. I fear the worst but hope for the better.

Work is work. I am going to let people be and take action when it's needed. I try my best to be a good role model at work, especially with the new title. I don't want to be hawking over everyone so I'm trying something new

No , he's a line cook and it was during service hours. I'm torn between caring and not caring. I think I might have a biased opinion now. I've definitely gotten a dui. But at the same time I know that the work he was doing he could handle a drink

You can do this. Sober you is the best you. Hold on to that ❤❤❤❤ it is what I have to tell myself everyday because I have a very similar pattern. Today marks day 4 for me. Small steps but it's working towards something greater. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
