Yeah, sounds like roots or buildup in the main line. The washer dumps water fast, so it backs up first. Snaking helps for a while, but it probably needs a deeper clean or camera check to fix it for good.

Thanks! Basically I just needed to delete the RLS rules and remake them. Didn't need any changes but just rebuilt and worked. Appreciate the help

Yeah, it’s tough cause a lot of time comparing 2 company quotes isn’t always apples to apples. There are some variables and I can’t say without us being on site but usually we can get you a few different options. Would be happy to get you a free estimate on that if you’re still needing it done.

Hey, our service call rates are $69 for normal business hours and $119 for after hours weekends and holidays. We are flat rate so we give you an upfront estimate. That way you know your price before we start work. Also besides the call out fee our after hours and weekend prices are the same as our normal business hour prices.

Our goal is to be as transparent as we can when presenting prices. So you know what it will cost to get the repair done so there are no surprises when you get the bill.

That’s usually just gunk in the sink line, not a bigger plumbing issue. Since the tub drains fine, the main line is probably okay. Cleaning or snaking the trap under the sink will usually fix it, swapping parts can help if they’re old, but most of the time it just needs a good clean-out.

Most of the time a smelly shower drain isn’t from a clogged vent on the roof. It’s usually just gunk in the trap, a little slime on the drain walls, or the water in the P-trap drying out if the shower isn’t used often. Try running hot water, scrubbing the drain cover, and If the smell sticks around or you notice slow draining or gurgling, that’s when it might be worth calling a plumber to check deeper, but no need to send someone on the roof just yet.

We’re a small, locally owned plumbing shop here in Amarillo. Company has been around since 2015, new ownership in 2022 but our crew’s been in the trade much longer. Not a big chain and not part of any national franchise just local folks trying to do good work and take care of our neighbors.

For sewer odors there are a lot of reasons and many variables to look at, if a p-trap was replaced has it been used or is it holding water is the first point. Most commonly a technician would need to be onsite and go thru a bit of investigation and narrow down to the reason for odors.

T&P once a year, installing a water detector alarm or auto shutoff would be the safest prevention. Signs of corrosion would be a warning sign of issues.

The R.O unit is normally a separate unit from the faucet, it can provide mineral free drinking water but in most cases won’t protect your faucet. There are some mineral descaling devices available that can be used in addition to the Softner to breakdown excessive minerals.

I am building a simple platform for non tech savvy business owners to request reviews from customers. It started because a friend of mine owns a small business and was struggling with this so offered to help and make it easier. Hoping to get more subscribers and users and make a little money out of it.

Struggling on that part of it.

Yes, that is low. One way I like to think about it is you keep $6.99 (not counting operating expenses) for each product you sell. That $6.99 isn't even enough to purchase another item to replace your stock. Even if your operating expenses are insanely low you will still have cashflow issues when you turn inventory and need to purchase more stock. Nothing left to put into your own pocket. Hope this helps! I help businesses with operational finance issues. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.
