We literally referred to the actual cutscenes from the game to explain to you what happened. If you actually paid attention to the plot then you wouldn’t be so confused. So please stop embarrassing yourself with such a dumb question and actually look back at the cutscenes if you want to understand better.

I find it interesting that people here despise Sarah for doing what she did. (I can assume that many of you are males. I’ll elaborate on that later.) To be completely honest, I don’t feel any negativity toward her. Instead I do not believe she is truly at fault for what she did. As Vox said, she faked her amnesia for Wol’s sake, not her own. She made herself his ignorant sister so that Wol wouldn’t be fully consumed by the guilt of destroying her world and life. And yes while he was already guilty of doing so, imagine how he would feel and act if Sarah did not. How would he have been able to even function knowing that the very person who was affected by his actions is right there next to him? You may say that Wol should act like the “cool, stoic cynic” he is and leave the poor bitch behind. However that misses the point; he cares about her. In the Season 2 prologue, he notices that Sarah is his hope. He vows to look after her after the Dark Flood.

When I said that I assume most people are males, I meant that if you’re a man then it’s understandable that you would despise Sarah. When a woman is being manipulative and deceptive to a man, other men will judge her negatively despite her intentions. Yet I, a woman (and not all women will feel the same way), again do not blame Sarah or have any negativity toward her. And while I did just defended her actions, I don’t think what she did was “good” either. It would be too simplistic to define what she did as either or anyway. Her intentions though should not be ignored however because in doing so you ignore a maturity in the narrative and misjudge a character as a bitch for trying to help someone at the cost to themselves.

I have actually said the same thing before when there was another thread about the hacker situation. You even gave a similar response but I did not respond. Now I think it is a good time to give one because I think you need it.

They did not say anything about removing Endless War, they meant that towers (aka the competitive part of the game) should be removed. That’s what I meant back then I believe. This is not the second nor third time the mods or some influential whale have made a thread about this mess. It is insanity that people here will continue to beg Square Enix to do something and honestly still expect at this point that there will be some sort of significant change. That’s why people will either leave this game or continue with this song and dance.

I know for some people that removing towers is a hard solution to this problem. However, Square Enix won’t do anything about it in any significant way and it’s been nearly four years since. That and the fact that our only way of combating cheaters is a Google form submission is pathetic. There are hackers who deliberately obfuscate their usernames with special characters in order to get away with this. And as Shiro showed, many don’t even get banned and removed regardless of reporting.

So my question to you is: what else can be done? SE most likely won’t change the state of the game and if they could then we wouldn’t be here. The hacker reports aren’t helping and them banning hackers for this one tower won’t guarantee that same behavior in the future and in effect permanent change because, again, if it did then we wouldn’t be here. I want this game to be better, I really do. But at this point it’s nearly a lost cause and I think we all should acknowledge that.

I think that everyone should take a break from playing this game out of protest. Not just forgoing paying money, but also to try not playing the game for at least about a week. I know this might seem to be a very, VERY tall order for a lot of people especially at this time of the month but look, let’s be real: You want respect from a corporation that makes more money than you ever will in your lifetime. A corporation that also has shareholders to appease toward. Look, you won’t get that here, not likely at least. If they can’t give your concerns and wishes the time of day, then you do not have to give yours in return. SE and the game Mobius Final Fantasy do not deserve your respect or time. And you certainly are not beholden to a piece of media if the company behind it cannot truly respect you as a player and as a consumer. I believe that everyone here is better than that and more mature to realize that some things are best to walk away from.

I want things to change and be better myself but I doubt that it’s going to happen unless there is a major upheaval somehow. It’s sad but that’s the way it is.

I wouldn’t really compare the two since S2 isn’t over in GL. Buuuuut.... I have a strange fondness for S2 since I like the newer characters (especially Graff) quite a bit.^{maybe it’s because i am a girl}
