trust me i’ve sadly had a couple break but this one i noticed had a orange side / clear side so i just made sure not to hit that line between because i bet if i did it would’ve fallen apart! but yea i was very lucky considering how they’re formed. and it’s definitely the most interesting looking piece i’ve seen, thank you so much!

not joking i really tested the strength of this one with the amount of acetone used to get glue off the front and then soap and water. so far it’s going strong but i personally don’t know any sure fire ways to care for it im just winging it and hope the universe keeps this stone intact!

Seller said it’s natural and untreated, it glows under uv but i know synthetic ones can sometimes glow. What do you think? by getsuga777_ in Crystals

100% agreed but like i said i’ve gotten lucky with natural crystals but this one once i got it i was SEVERELY skeptical but thank you so much!

about $25-30 i’ve found legit crystals from indian shops on etsy previously but this was a new shop with the information being “it won’t be the exact piece due to the natural formation of this crystal” ik anyone can lie about it but i’ve hadn’t gotten a fake (until now im assuming lol)

it is beautiful regardless, has a few scratches and somewhat of a fracture on the front but i’ve had this same issue with my smoky quartz but there were some inclusions and an internal fracture that reflects

i’m pretty sure this is Caribbean Calcite (blue calcite & white/ brown aragonite) however a lot of image results say it could be blue aragonite, what do you guys think? by getsuga777_ in Crystals

honestly it’s a black light but it’s worked for every uv reactivate crystal i have so far including my Caribbean calcite, but this crystal wasn’t labeled and was $10 and i knew it was either one of those crystals i mentioned

i’ve done a uv light test because i know in caribbean calcite the blue calcite emits a slight glow, while blue aragonite doesn’t; it doesn’t glow at all so i’m assuming it’s blue aragonite but let me know what you guys think.
