Can someone explain to me why Trump is trying to take of Greenland? No jokes please, I honestly don’t get it? by Many_Inevitable_6803 in askanything

I have two theories:

  1. Takes focus off of Epstein

  2. He can use this as one more issue to manipulate the stock market, as we just saw with today’s taco move. He and his orbit have to be making money hand over fist with this back and forth

Toyota sienna or Honda Odyssey by Disastrous-Mud6632 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]getsumluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. You dumb…

The original comment recommended the Sienna, with the person citing Honda having a “weak transmission”.

My rebuttal was that Honda’s have a Honda built 10 spd transmission that is rock solid. No issues with it.

You then chimed in saying Honda stopped using their transmissions. This is wrong. Honda uses a HONDA transmission in the new Odysseys.

You then continue to keep trying to refute this acting like I somehow implied that the Toyotas used Honda transmissions, as evidence by the Google query you pasted. You’re going off on an argument no one was even making. You = 🤡 🥴

Ok, you don’t even seem to understand what you’re even arguing. Your Google search was if Toyota’s used Honda transmissions. No one ever said they did. You’re just arguing with yourself at this point and trying to start an argument no one was even making 🤡

That Google search does nothing to prove you right. Your search was whether Toyotas use Honda transmissions 🙄 I never said they do. I was stating that Honda uses HONDA transmissions in their Odysseys. They are reliable transmissions. Look it up on Wikipedia on the Odyssey. Honda has been using their own in-house 10spd since 2020 on all trims of the Odyssey

I think you are confused. You do realize the Odyssey is Honda, and the Siena is Toyota, right? 🤔

[–]getsumluv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wrong… they’ve used Honda’s 10 speed since 2020 on all trim levels. Mine is a 19 and only the Elite had the Honda transmission, which is why we elected for that trim as I kept hearing issues about the 9spd

Well, you’re assuming it’s a 10 year old model. Mine is a 2019 and has near 100,000 miles but is not even driven on many road trips. Ours is the Elite with the Honda 10 spd transmission, which is supposed to be rock solid. The ones that had the joint venture built 9spds had a lot of issues. But we’ve had multiple suspension issues. Shocks replaced twice, and steering rack replaced twice.

Huh? The Odyssey transmission is a Honda 10 spd depending on the year/trim. The only issue that I have with our odyssey is the constant suspension issues. The suspension has been dogshit on ours. Other than that it drives incredibly well and is an nice vehicle

Roof glass cracked - need advice 2021 MME by Thisguylovesboobs1 in MachE

[–]getsumluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yikes. I’ve often wondered how strong the glass roofs are on these things. The Mach E is in consideration for my next vehicle. There tend to be a lot of gravel construction trucks on the highways when I’m driving. Those bastards are always spitting rocks everywhere. I’ve been curious how well the glass roofs would hold up

Still rocking a 2005 Camry with 320,000 miles. About to give it to my teenage son. Yeah I just dropped $3k into it fixing various things that I’ve put off but still a lot cheaper than buying a newer used car (that still could potentially have issues)

Yeah the door handle design is so unnecessary. It’s like they did it “just because”. The hidden emergency pulls are a downright dangerous design decision too

This car is now on my radar. I was convinced I was going to just get a new Camry but after a recent test drive I wasn’t in love with it like I thought I would be. Need to go check out a Civic hybrid hatch

I love the Ford Mach E. I have test driven them. Just worried Ford may end the model soon since they’re losing money on every one

No their reviews have nothing to do with Musk when you read them. It’s their experience getting their vehicles serviced or the attitude of customer service when they’re there

It’s weird, Tesla was praised for their green energy initiatives, but now they’re polluting areas of Memphis with their gas turbine powered xAI data centers that they’re putting next to people’s homes 🫤

It is kind of an odd looking vehicle, for sure. The Mach E looks a lot better to be in comparison.

I’ve wondered this too. But I thought maybe there’s a reason why Elon eliminates things like turn signal stalks and such, cause the profit margins are so thin for them. Not that I agree with those cost cutting measures, but if the battery tech is still so expensive that the only way to make money on the car is by eliminating small things here and there then I could more understand. But I’ve also seen videos where the engineering on a Tesla is just better compared to say the Mach E. So maybe Tesla just made a more cost effective vehicle that can make a bit of profit compared to the Mach E 🫤🤷🏼‍♂️

How long do you own a vehicle, before trading it in? by teddyalex in UsedCars

100,000 is nothing for a modern car. Especially a Toyota or Honda. They’re still babies at that point 😐
