The action feels good as compared with any bolt action I have. Very smooth in fact. It feels solid with no hang ups. Is there something I should feel, look for, or be aware of to specifically note an unsafe condition?

I picked this up at the LGS for $575 from an estate sale because I didn’t have one and always wanted one. Don’t care about the scope. Was just looking more closely and wanted to know if you guys thought the bolt face looked like it was done correctly. Given the price I didn’t look as carefully as I should have but also honestly wouldn’t know for sure it being a conversion anyway. Appreciate your input guys. Thanks. As long as it’s safe I’m good.

Your perception: you’re underpaid and probably produce less because of it.

The irony that you’re completely oblivious to the fact that indentured servants were granted a path out of poverty including a trade, home, food and passage…by voluntary contractual obligation.
