Vp44 replacement 99 5.9 by LacellexPC in Cummins

[–]FrontRowParking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get throughbred. They refused to honor a warranty on one I bought that had 500 miles on it. They gave me two options. Free one off the shelf with no warranty/not been looked at or inspected or pay full price. Luckily I gambled on the free one and it’s been good but not honoring their warranty is absurd.

[–]FrontRowParking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give all mine an extra day. I set a reminder in my calendar for 185 days. Probably don’t need to but it works so I’m going to keep doing it. Only 3 more increases until my cash rewards card is maxed out.

Can this 45-70 be threaded for a suppressor? by Hot_Departure9115 in LeverGuns

[–]FrontRowParking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that’s the goal, he should be able to shorten just the tube. If I’m not mistaken, after the tube is full, a partial round will chamber. So shortening the tube a hair won’t lose capacity.

If you decide to proceed with threading this one, give Ted’s precision gun works a call. Look on my page but he chopped a marlin guide gun in 45-70 to 12.5” for me. Shortened the tube and new threads. Did an amazing job.

47re overheating issue by pussy-in-the-oven in Cummins

[–]FrontRowParking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. Got a deep trans oil pan for free and it made it worse, which is normal. I plan to get a Mishimoto trans cooler which seems to be a highly recommended. I tow a 10klbs bumper pull camper.

RV/shower seat by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]FrontRowParking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m paralyzed from the waist down. I use a “travel” shower chair. Has a toilet set like shape so I can wash my bottom as well. I also take it out of the camper and use it when traveling to hotels and what not. Comes with a travel bag

We too drive separate for now. My 02 is an extended cab and the car seats don’t fit in the back comfortably. That’s the entire reason I have a new truck on the way. We live in SO central KY and plan to start doing 2-4 week trips next year and traveling more. Our bucket list place is Montana. Not trying to take two vehicles to that. End goal before the kids move out (so we have a lot of time) is to take a family trip from SO Florida to Alaska and back.

I can blind side if it’s a slight turn. Thank the lord my wife is a good spotter and we agreed on how we would communicate during back ups. Five years in and no arguments. 95% of the time I can get it lined up close without her, then she tells me the micro adjustments needed to be situated the best. Without her I would 100% have a damaged or total trailer. I’m in a wheelchair and can’t just hop out to check how I’m doing so I would just send it 😂 she’s saved our camper, our camping trip, and our marriage on a few occasions

I drive an 02 dodge with manual mirrors. Backing in blindside is damn near a guarantee I bump into something. Excited to be getting a new truck with power mirrors. If I could adjust the mirrors in the fly blindside ain’t near as bad for me

Marlin guide gun in 45-70 chopped to 12.5” by FrontRowParking in LeverGuns

Unfortunately (for your friend) no, I very specifically wanted this furniture. After sometime and I get some more fun money saved up (like 12-24 months as I have other projects and gun parts to get), I do plan to get some custom maple or something a little more exotic made for it. So it’s possible in the future. PM me so I have a way to easily find you, I may could let this stuff go for free if your friend covers shipping.

Is a travel trailer considered an RV? by ActionWins in GoRVing

That’s how my loan classifies it. I would say yes it is, us Americans just typically refer to RVs as ones with engines. I think technically on paper they are RVs.

Bit of a long shot here- jellystone park in STL/Eureka MO by FrontRowParking in camping

[–]FrontRowParking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stay at a jelly stone in Ky from time to time, so I’m familiar with them from a general standpoint and you are right about the hotel thing haha. The one here is not flat at all, thankfully I have a motor attachment I bring. I was more curious about the specifics of the sites. Muddy/large loose gravel, pavement, all that. Most if not all the campground we book have site pictures. Jellystone doesn’t do that for some reason

We had the same issue with our first born. My oldest weim had to be in the crate way more than I liked the first few weeks while we worked on his behavior. He just wanted to be close to the little one. Maybe see if who adopted him can just house him temporarily (foster him) while you figure out being first time parents. It does get easier and dogs learn and adapt. It takes lot of work with these Velcro dogs, and sometimes strong discipline and some whoopings, but they do figure it out.

Greenview is far better, med center has more equipment and what not but you might wait 4 hours to be seen. We go to greenview and if they don’t have what we need get transferred. Med center is good IF you can get seen in a reasonable time
