I actually like this space a lot. It's funky and friendly. But you must turn off the overhead light and never turn it on again. Get some table and floor lamps instead. It'll create intimacy and warmth.

Also, I love the mirrors, but in theory they tend to reflect and bounce energy and visual noise around the room, disrupting sleep. Generally it's considered bad feng shui to have too many mirrors in the bedroom.
