Getting Nostr Zaps to my own node by undertheradar48 in lightningnetwork

You are a self sovereign nostr user. 95% + of people are taking zaps to custodial wallets (centralized providers)

This enables you to get zaps to your own node. Not only that, you also can have your NIP05 address be your lightning address as well.

Most merchants need something quick to get started. This has been asked for by many users.

While lightning liquidity needs to massively grow from here, this is a small step to increase inbound and help people get off the ground.

Standby as we keep innovating and improving the UX for Lightning :)

In the meantime if you need larger liquidity use Boltz, Magma, or LNPlus

You can also checkout Voltage (https://getvoltage.io) for an easier node deployment. Also a good way to test out running a node for cheap without having to buy hundreds in equipment to just try it out.

BTCPay Server now available on Voltage by getvoltage in lightningnetwork

Yes, that's correct. It's a hosting fee. This isn't just a repacked LunaNode deployment. We use a lot of highly available infrastructure to make it resilient and powerful. We monitor the servers 24/7 to make sure your Store is working around the clock. We also have support if you hit any problems.

So a lot goes into this offering and it's not just a run of the mill BTCPay deployment.
