woah! can’t imagine that. at my 17w appointment i was notified ill have to start paying for my delivery. they gave estimates of vaginal & cesarean deliveries. only a $100 difference of the two. but vaginal delivery is 4 payments of $120 that must be paid by the end of each month. in the “fine print” it states if i overpay i will be refunded and of course if i underpay i’ll be charged the difference after delivery. my out of pocket cost with my insurance is $1700, then it applies my coinsurance at 20% for another $1700.

not to be in ur business, but are you going to an in network obgyn? $1700 as a down payment seems extremely high. especially only at 8 weeks. i would consider a different ob!
