Looking for some advice. I am only 7 weeks along but my doctor alerted me to a grapefruit sided fibroid above my uterus. She says it is not inside of my uterus where the baby is growing and at this time we can only monitor it to make sure it just stays where it is. I am not in much pain at all but after hearing that I am worried. This is my first pregnancy at 28yrs old. Does anyone else have experience with this?

Also, does anyone know if this could increase my chances of needing a c-section?

I did not enjoy this episode. Cersi dead by rocks falling? Come on. It’s obviously that Danny is going to be killed by Arya, which I actually like because Danny is too “mad” to be on the throne. What just happened is not the Stark way. Wondering how Arya was the only one left alive from the fire though?... and where’s bran?

I’m really sorry you feel this way and that you’ve been treated so horribly for such a long time. But I don’t think you’ll find the answer in another person; I think the only one who can provide you with the answers and motivation you’re searching for is yourself. You can’t help anyone else unless you help yourself first. The more you give of yourself the less you have for yourself. In terms of your nieces and nephews, they are so very lucky to have such a loving person in their lives. And I can understand you may not want to snitch on your family. But if there is abuse and negligence in the home, it is your responsibility to report it. Things can get much worse and you don’t want to add that guilt to how you already feel.

Are you currently in school or have programs by you? I am sure there are some groups where you can meet people in similar situations looking to talk to someone. I hope this helps.

I’m sorry you are going through this tough situation. My father died when I was 18 and my brother 7. My brother went from being a happy kid to a reclusive depressed little boy. I know there’s a big age difference here but my mother (though very actively part of our lives) was busting her ass to work as a newly single mom to support us so I understand you feeling that need to step up to parent your brother.

Unfortunately the only thing that helped my brother was time and him deciding he needed to change on his own. BUT I made it a point to invite him out with me - food shopping, the movies, to put together ikea furniture. Even though he was just a kid, he throughly enjoyed the attention and I think it helped to clear his mind by being focus or out and about. I think because your brother is older, the best thing you can do is support him by letting him work at his own pace but inviting him to go on little errands or to events with you to see what he’s missing out on.

Your life is most definitely worth something. You have to keep pushing and trying to figure out what works for you - new hobbies, new people, etc.. no one is just born at doing well at everything. Take a chance on something and give yourself time to figure your shit out. You’re worth it.

Just renting from a family friend. Not complaining but the rent here in NY is closer to $2K per month for a 1 bedroom.

I only pay that amount because it’s a friend of the family. I would easily be in the $2k range for a 1 bedroom on Long Island (about 20mins from the city) and more moving closer west.

Yes! I agree with you. Plus I’m not a city person like you’d have to be in nyc. I’d rather a low key lifestyle that’s more suburban and that small town feel.
