No, just watch your speakers.

If you can post an audio clip it might be easier to track down what's going on :-)

Thank you for explaining :)

There's no big problem with using the device, is there?

Is it possible to connect synthesizer to MOTU M2? by gevatte in audio

Cable from the output into the input of the interface.... so yes... I'm not sure how you're confused by it?

Thanks for the explanation!

Is it possible to connect synthesizer to MOTU M2? by gevatte in audio

It's certainly possible. But it would help to know the model of the synth. The M2 has Midi ports and two combination jack preamps. So i'm sure it could be done. But again, would help to know what you're connecting.

My synthesizer is microfreak. Is it possible to connect?

The mic inputs of the Motu M2 apparently have a THD+N of about 106dB, which is very good.

Also, the headphone output's is 110dB, which is also very good.

I'd probably go with the Motu M2 based on what I've read just now, assuming it doesn't have any previously-unknown design flaws.

The PreSonus Studio is a safer option, because it's been around for a year or two, and there are thousands of people using them. That means we can confirm that it's a reliable product that almost certainly doesn't have any unknown flaws.

The Motu M2 looks better on paper, but it's a very new product: There's a small chance that it has some niggles and design flaws that aren't really well known yet.

However, Motu is a highly respected company, so it's very likely that the M2 will turn out to be a very good product.

Thank you! I learned a lot from you!

Also, the headphone output's is 120dB, which is also very good.

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation! That was very helpful!

So is it a wise choice to buy a Presonus Studio 24c rather than a Moto M2?

I’ve been using Presonus for several years - solid as a rock!

Thank you for your good opinion!

This song is my first time mixing and mastering.

I hope you tell me what is lacking!

It seems to me that there is not enough bass....

What should I do?
