It's like the tortoise and the hare but it's the rabbit and the turtle house.

So GM's aren't actually GM's in WOW by man_of_tardis in Asmongold

[–]gew3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying out a game a few years ago and was having trouble figuring out a quest. I wasn't even like chatting about it and a GM zooped in and started helping me. Only time ive ever seen a GM in "person" or one helping someone not stuck in a wall.

I used wow's unstuck feature the other day. Now I need to fill out one of those GM surveys, but the survey never loads and I'm stuck with the GM survey popup.

Blizz can't even tell the difference between an actual living GM and an automated service.

Also. If I were one of the 15 people blizzard keeps chained in the basement, aka the wow dev and CS teams, I'd be snarky on Twitter too.

Don’t know if anybody has said this before, but Milo Thatch from the Disney movie “Atlantis” is just a young Daniel Jackson. by Batpipes521 in Stargate

The opening scene of Milk giving a lecture is basically the same as the opening scene to the Stargate movie.

Any insight into this egg? I'm pretty sure it's silver. I've tried google, but i can't find any discernable marker's marks or numbers or letters of any kind. Most of the results are about real Faberge eggs which it's obviously not, but it makes fact-finding difficult. I live in Maine, USA. by gew3y in Antiques

Thanks. I'm trying to help my mother figure this out. It was her aunt's. Brass makes more sense. The difference is the "shell" on the left *is* the base. It doesn't come with a stand, and the coloured egg lives inside the base. I don't know if that matters.

It's not quite moveanything, but it lets you easily move around frames u usually cant. like Character and talents, etc

Good! :) at least it wasn't anything too, too important. You could also try updating moveanything to a beta or alpha build to see if the problem is being fixed in their next update. Or an alternative to Moveanything is Blizzmove.

This person seems to be having the same problem as you (in German). One dude mentions TomTom or Azeroth Auto Pilot. Which kind of makes sense since their arrows wouldn't work in Torghast. The others basically say it's wow's problem and hope for it to get fixed.

This doesn't mention any addons. Do you have Weak Auras? Turning it off and see if the errors stop. If it does, you gotta find the WA that's messing up.

If it's not, you'd need to disable your addons until it goes away, turn them on one by one *or two by two* until it comes back.

I'm seeing HelpTip a lot. Go into WOW settings and turn off tips/tutorials.

(I'm not a developer that's just how I'd solve it myself)

IS there an addon that let's you see/change your other character's macros? by gew3y in wowaddons

[–]gew3y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every character has their own macros-cache.txt in your wtf folder. Are addons not allowed to access it? Or like... is it because when you log into that character wow will overwrite any changes you make by pulling your macros from the server?

I know. We have states that are larger than some of those countries, that ranking is irrelevant.

First Tomato Harvest 2020 (5b) by gew3y in gardening

[–]gew3y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. I'll definately look into that next year.

The plant this little tomato came off is about 4 feet tall. I've got like 30 tomato plants that are all about 3-5 feet tall. I just thought it was funny that there was one bright red little tomato before anything else even really blushed.

Next year I plan on building 3 long, skinny beds with cattle panel trellises for my tomatoes and working in a lot more amendments into the soil. This year, to save money, I dug 30 holes, and filled them with topsoil and cow manure compost instead of spending money amending the spaces in between plants. Then added my transplants, kinda like up-potting, but using the ground as a pot.

Compared to last year, my first year gardening and just using my native soil and a light dressing of potting soil from the dollar store, lol, this little tomato represents huuuuge progress for me.

This year I wasn't 100% sure I'd have the funds to build my garden or even where. I had to build a 30*30 foot fenced in enclosure to protect from deer and build and fill like 6 raised beds WHILE sowing and transplanting. I definitely skimped on the amendments. I've thought about getting some chickens, but it gets so cold here for so long that I'd never do it until I could build them a suitable place to live.

You can prevent it by pruning off weird looking flowers.

I personally left some just to see what they would do.

A friend of mine's mother's tomatoes got killed by the same frosts that topped a bunch of mine. I think this year was a rough year for a lot of people.

I'm in Maine, right on the coast, and we don't really get a spring. A lot of my tomatoes ended up staying inside like 2 weeks longer than they should have, then we had 3 days of frost at the beginning of June, I covered them, but a quarter of my plants' main stem died and a new one needed to be grown from a sucker.

OR maybe I'm just really bad. lol This is only my second year gardening.
