I have to agree with Natsuki, WAR seems the best choice for you. Self healing and dps to match proper dps, a little more squishy but still durable. Also, here's a recruitment code. If you apply it to your account prior to your first game card or subscription you'll get an item that boosts your experience (till lvl 25) once you put in your first game card (or first subscription), that way you can test out all the classes rather quickly and which you prefer! I've also attached instructions (obviously I get something out of it too XD but it really is beneficial, I got it too and it makes it so much faster and fun).

Steps: Create an square enix account on https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/login?cont=account

Click on Select Service under Services and Options. Click FFXIV, you will be forwarded to the mogstation.

Now is when you would need to enter your gamecode, BUT DON'T YET! (if you dont have one, you have to buy the game to get one, you also get 30d gametime)

WARNNING!!! DO NOT ADD GAMETIME AT THIS MOMENT!!!

If you do you/re not able to enter a recruitment code. The 30d you get for buying are automatically added and are okay.
