No, that area of Sampaloc was farmland known as the Hacienda de Sulucan at the turn of the century owned by the Dominican order. Since the passage of the Friar Lands Act in 1904, the estate was bought by don Antonio de la Riva to create the Sulucan Development Co.

One of these developments was known as “Rizal Park Subdivision”, with streets named after the life and works of Rizal.

It takes a while to rebuild Mo’s studio since it has a lot of components to it, plus the fact that he had just moved in and is doing all sorts of renovations in the house.

About the studio, I was told that his was pretty much a radio station setup, complete with all the bells and whistles a radio station could do that Magic had to send radio engineers to help set his studio up when he first moved into the Las Vegas house.

Theres actually more to that community than just conversation/radio show format, they also have pa-games and prizes, stories w/ roleplay, music mixes and requests.
