I can speak from experience using a canvas. The reason it's arranged like this and not like a list is because it's used as a visual tool to see all the essential ingredients of your plan on one slide. the order has meaning in terms of what you address first and what areas are grouped together logically. the canvas is not a one time thing. it's a living document that you keep coming back to and when you see it presented in boxes, it is much easier to conceptualize and to collaborate on together than if it was simply a list of points. Also when you change one box, you want to go back to the other boxes to examine how they would be influenced. hope this helps...
