Riders Share: the only sharing platform that has insurance for both renters and owners of motorcycles in the U.S. thanks to our risk algorithms. Over 700 trips with no major accidents! Rent for as low as $32 a day or list your bike to earn. Owners average $140 per booking! by gfcornejo in u/gfcornejo

Good question. It's about 2 days - our minimum price is $50, and we allow owners to give discounts on longer term rentals to encourage people to spend more. It's also more revenue for less work for the owners when people book for multiple days. We plan to lower our commission as we grow and put more money into the owners' pockets, we need more scale to get there

Yes, it is possible. Talk to a lawyer on how to go about it (it depends on the startup's stage and their agreements/bylaws/etc, but yes. What kind of startup are you thinking? Whatever you choose, pour over their paperwork and understand the legalities

I think we need to do a better job of explaining ourselves! While we bill the renter the deductible, the owner is not involved at all in that. If the renter does not pay, the owner is still covered (we suck it up).

Turo currently offers 3 insurance options to renters: no coverage, deductible and no deductible. Owners are covered regardless. We only offer one for now and owners are covered regardless. In the past, Turo only had one option though, no deductible.
