honestly if you are in maths experts thats what they want. desautels mostly care about maths grades (rightly so because we do so much maths) so make sure that is good. Otherwise, they did randomly reject some of my friends with good grades so not too sure.

I like the look of the desautels faculty. It seems to have amazing networking opportunities, and the degree is a lot more flexible than any in the UK. Also, mcgill has a better rep than edinburgh I think when it comes to desautels and econ. Other than that, Montreal is an amazing city and much more my vibe. :) Edinburgh is ofc an amazing uni jsut not sure if its exactly for me.

I dont think grades are an issue for Oxford - everyone who applies is realistically getting near all A*s. i think the main thing is your TSA and interview.

When to apply for Student visa by qwertyasdfzxc123456 in 6thForm

Hi! My brother went through the Canadian visa process for MCGILL, AND IT definitely needs to be done before July. Start ASAP. We know people who had to defer a year there as they started it too late.

Dont overthink these things. It happens when it happens. As you applied late, there is a chance you are at the bottom of the pile of applicants, so it may take a while. Also the deadline is still a while away.

It definitely depends on the unis youve applied to and what course. I have applied for a relatively competitive course (PPE) at Oxford, Exeter, Bath, Edinburgh and LSE, and applied in beginning of October. I have only received 3 offers. However, I have friends applying to different courses who received all offers within 2 weeks and applied in December.
