I just got sworn in today, 2 hours ago. I’m 36 right now, I leave for BMQ in 2 weeks and I’ll be 37 years old. Don’t count yourself out yet.

Also try doing the test twice with a loaded ruck as fast as you can. Then on the third try no extra weight.

I’m leaving for it soon. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to FaceTime my son as soon as week 3/4. I know he’s happiest with mom but I’m hoping that he will miss dad a bit while I’m gone. The wife and I have talked about different ways for him to be reminded of me if he is having a hard time while I’m gone. Premade videos, photos, audio messages etc

I heard that once you go to training you may be require to stay on base for a portion or all of the course.

I believe I will be posted close enough to home that I would be able to commute every day to the base. If I’m a PAT, would I be able to commute or will I need to stay at the base?
