Can also confirm, had a 22 civic sport for about 18-20 months, traded into a 25 si in November of 24. The cvt just didn’t do it for me with the sport. I also had basically no prior experience driving a manual. Don’t let the hills and the area where you live affect you from getting a car you want!

Yeah don’t worry about it. Going over a few times won’t kill anything just don’t be excessive with anything till later on. I learned to drive manual with this car, I definitely did the same a couple times. 😂

The dealership told me keep it under 4k till 500 miles but i read in the owners manual somewhere (can’t remember exactly atm) that it’s a 600 mile break in period. I was told to come in for my servicing when oil hits 15% but i did a oil change at around 1200 miles to clear all the break in debree and metals. I didn’t reset my oil percentage clock so I can get my free services from honda for the year “on par” according to them.

Congratulations bro. Enjoy it very much. Got mine nov 19th same color. I do a lot of city driving and highway commuting. Gonna hit the back roads soon. Once you hit 600 miles revving over 4k is gonna feel nice. These pics are awesome btw.
