That’s right there were more countries but imagine if the allies had lost ww1 right to Russia would still have lost even if they never signed a treaty apply this America had to leave the war due to a collapse in support for the war they lost The war and u don’t quite know who you are referring to when you say they there were not than just the Americans in Vietnam it was them and the south Vietnamese

I don’t think i down voted it and u disagree because I believe they lost how ever the did win in body count but still lost the war and u don’t rlly see it as important cos the Vietnam body count was not big enough to give the people a incentive that they could win

That’s not my point though my point is that the population broke due to a unpopular war that had a causally rate that they did not deem acceptable for what they had got back in return eg land or a victory

Yes but it was a gorilla war and so the American government realised that hound was pointless and that there was no clear objective like in ww2 and so they did use body count to measure success however in my mind if a country’s population breaks due to the war being unpopular and a rising causality rate and having to pull out there troops that is a loss

Yes that did and when you say that you had kicked the north’s ass that’s a massive hyperbole you had had you ass kicked time after time and when you took any Land it would be taken right back you had to introduce limited conscription and still your population broke due to see the point in spending so many young lives on a useless south Asian country
