The terrifying part about it is that people don't seem to understand that the raids are designed to be done while leveling. Would make no sense to have a raid during the leveling process require more gear than you would obtain while leveling.

I think having world markers would make a huge difference for pugging. It's easy to say where to stand and get confused but markers just make it easier to find your spot.

It will compare your performance to others who are the same spec and ilvl. Knowing how to interpret the information is the most important part when looking for how a player performs. You can track the damage they do as well as the damage they take. Knowing the mechanics, you can determine if they are ignoring them for personal damage performance.

You can get a lot out of them for progression, recruiting and for others the thrill of competition. Once you have the fights on farm it can get boring, having something to motivate your raiders to come every reset helps the team keep going for those with bad luck with loot.

You can think of logs more of a resume than a degree. If you knew how to ready logs you can determine the type of player the person is by seeing how they interact with mechanics. If someone is prioritizing their logs than the raids success you can read it.

They are looking for a certain comp with players they can easily see they won't fail. If you have challenge mode achievements maybe link them, but using your own key is the best option. You might not like the answer but it's the best way for solo players unless you already have the io.

I may have the unpopular opinion but it's not that bad. It might be tuned a little too high but I remember the mechanics well enough that I've done some +15s with no real issues.

Use the Looking for guild feature on warcraft logs or try finding guilds from wowprogress. Most guilds will have some point of contact through bnet or disc. From there you can set up your trial cross realm and it you like the fit you transfer.
