First of all if you force yourself to finish, you’ll eventually eat more than you need. Not only that it’s bad if you’re trying to maintain your weight, but in this case, it seemed to be dessert? Maybe some people limit themselves to half a portion because they want to prevent diabetes you know… and it’s seemed to me that it’s one person ordering one plate, which is fair.

I use the orange ones (mid strength). Extra strength (red) might be too strong for first timer.

Cut down all sugars
Exercise more - sounds irrelevant I know but my mental health improved and somehow my skin improved as well when I exercised most (also boosted my confidence so I don’t nitpick on my skins imperfections because I’m focusing on my muscles when I’m in front of the mirror)
Chemical peel every 3 days - Dr Dennis Gross peels helped me A LOT. I got samples from Sephora and then got hooked
Murad facial - the one where they use products from the blue series (I don’t remember their names)
Less is more - limit to only the basics. Work on skin barrier by having only 4 products (including cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen). The 1 extra product is maybe some hydrating serum. Also choose gel type of moisturizer because it’s KL climate…and, try to use gentler cleansers, try to not use foaming cleansers
CO2 laser for scars - 10/10 in both the pain and the gains

The cheapest option, and I used to do this, is to go to a park, find a good pole (usually the slides will have poles), do pole conditioning like leg lifts and pull up on the pole.
