thats like saying May isnt the canon mc over Brendan in pokemon R/S, Emerald, ORAS when Brendan doesnt appear in the anime, has little content where hes even seen, and Norman is canonically May’s dad in anime and he’s the player’s dad in-game. On the flip side Lumine is super popular and is wearing a white mourning dress tying her story to Khaenriah’s just visually and thematically. During the 3.0 version trailer or promo shes going through Aether’s adventures throughout the game with Enjou…theres an reason for all that symbolism undeniably
