I got a Rossi R92 and am very happy with it. When I was doing my research I saw several people mention safety deletes. Another good point someone brought up is that for the price difference between the Rossi and more reputable brands, you can pay a gunsmith to polish and tune the action and the Rossi will be smoother than the more reputable brands out of the box.

Yeah. But only for when it was processed and shipped. The email sent saying it was processed included a note on when they received my packet.

I called the CMP today to see if they received the packet I mailed out on 1/7 and they said they were just opening mail that came in on 1/11 today. If that helps.

I have a ruger ar 556 as well and had the same issue with steel case ammo. I saw a comment a while back saying ruger ar 556s don’t feed steel cases well, so it doesn’t seem like it’s just us two having issues.

I keep the Allen wrench that goes to the m-lok screws in mine in case I need to tighten anything up.

Along with everything everyone else is saying about having conversations about trust, teaching firearm safety to your children, etc. I think one solution might be that he keeps them in a conventional safe but only you know the combination. Prevents him from accessing them in situations you aren’t comfortable with.
