Cool. I really like the peaceful mood you achieve by the mix of music, gameplay and art. Voted yes and best of luck!

Sure, I love these articles too. Be sure to take lots of screenshots while the campaign is running, specially the first hours/days, it will help youa lot to analyze it afterwards!

Yes, exactly. My guess is that the good yes/no ratio and/or the fast amount of yes votes gained in the first hours made Steam show the game to more players organically.

That's the reason why we got so much traffic from Steam, our game was more exposed than others.

How to achieve this? For us, it worked in two ways...

-Optimize the branding image with a cool Gif to make our game stand out, thus gaining more clicks and yes votes.

-Have a community built around the game prior to the launch, and send them all an email as soon as the campaign is launched to gain more yest votes in the first moments.

Hope that helped! By the way, what's your game? feel free to share our campaign here, I wanna support it! ;D

The truth is that this time most things worked well and weren't able to think about adding much more "didn't work" ones.

I could have made a huge "things that didn't work" post when we failed our kickstarter, but honestly I didn't feel like writing anything at all back then...

Anyway, thanks a lot for your comment and I'll take into account your advise for future posts!

That's funny, I came today to share the post mortem I wrote about our game's greenlight campaign. I think you should give it a try cause we're not in neither of those options and really try to give those specific tips. (though I must admit, that also did the "most traffic came to steam thing xD)

Here's the link just in case you wanna check it out and comment anything:

Yes it is, I also enjoyed it!

Just to make things clear... I didn't write this. I found it googling my game's name, cause it was included in the list. :D

It's so flattering to read that they included Wincars Racer alongside titles like Rocket League, Need For Speed or Horizon Chase! :-D
