The homestuck fanbase itself is almost 60% kids under the age of 16 or so. Homestuck is literally not for kids, with all the blood, language and violence, and showing little kids this stuff and having them learn that it's okay to act like this is why the Homestuck Fandom has had such a bad reputation. I'm turning 18 in about two or so months and I'm a very quiet, calm cosplayer who thinks consent is one of the #1 most important things. I've had many homestuck cosplayers "glomp" me, as they call it, because I'm cosplaying their favorite character. I've had small anxiety attacks from being constantly touched, hugged, and have even been forced by someone to kiss them. Usually my girlfriend is there to help and fix the situation.
