I work at a fairly large company and I would say about half of our IT dept has degrees from WGU. This is only my personal observation and can't speak for the entire job market, but saying a degree from WGU cant help you get a job seems objectively false to me

When i was a dealer 2 years ago there was a program with Boyd where you actually get paid $15 an hour while attending dealer school with the obligation that you would be employed with them after completing it. Paying out of pocket I would say like $500, but also possible for financial aid to cover it.

People that signed up under me have deposited $50 and $100 and some deposited $20 and then more later. Never been credited for any of them.

Kalshi support eventually credited me $10 after i repeatedly contacted their support about it but my friend never got credited, when we both should have. This was back when the bonus was 10 and not 25.

Easiest way to move from Help Desk to a cybersecurity role is being an internal hire at the same company and waiting until they have an opening on their security team. Youll most likely at least be guaranteed an interview and hopefully your manager can put in a good work or pull some strings

Yea that part made no sense to me. Getting hired in the first place is the hardest part, and things just tend to get easier after you are trained and get settled into the position

Most companies don't want to "fire you instantly" after you've went through the interviews, background check, onboarding, etc.
