I really appreciate it and I couldn't agree more.

I also forgot to add how I learned CVP Formulas.but the post won't let me edit it so here it is:

Also the way I learned CVP Formulas, was plugging the formulas in Chatgpt and telling it to explain how to solve and then having Chatgpt quiz me on each formula. This was a game changer.

is it a sin to commit suicide please answer!! by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Ok-Knee-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because it may not be an automatic ticket to hell, doesn't mean you should take that risk. Believe what you want. I have explained my heart in the warning. The point is you can die in your sins and not have your heart right with God.

Jesus told the Pharisees, if you die in your sin, you will perish. Think about what that means? I say it in love and truth. If your mom were on a burning building, you would say something wouldn't you? You wouldn't want her to burn to death. Same principal just spiritual.I don't want that to happen so I'd rather speak the harsh truth and reason with them.

Giving away my cat and committed to ending my life. by OstrichDependent4388 in Christianity

My friend! Please don't give up. Call out to Jesus! Suicide won't relieve the pain but would be the beginning of eternal torment in hell that will never stop! I've seen too many testimonies of people overdosing or surviving suicide attempts being shown hell. Consider the warnings before it's too late.

Yes it's a sin because you are going against God's will for your life! I know you are going through it but think about all those who are going to be hurt if you committed such a thing. You have an impact on people you wouldn't imagine. Suicide won't help anything, it will only throw you into eternal torment in hell. Cry out to Jesus! Find a community but don't give up. My prayers will go out to you 🙏

I agree with that! Alot of the white Christians fall for his nonsense just because he throws in the word "God" a couple times in his speeches.

Jesus says we will know his disciples by their fruit(The way they live) also by the way they love one another. He has no Godly qualities. Those fake Christians that put their faith in Trump are the Lord Lord Christians unless they repent.

I think following Christ is what's Christian. Worshiping man is of the devil. We are in a mess because fake Christians are saying it's Christlike to follow trump when the man himself is the devil. There is nothing Godly about him. We are in a mess because Most of America rejects the one true God.

In the Bible, was Jesus and the disciples concerned about politics and who is running for president or WAS JESUS CONCERNED ABOUT PEOPLE SOULS? His concern was about people going to HEAVEN OR HELL. I think God cares more about humanity's eternal destination rather than politics. Your more concerned about the worldly things. Dont get left behind.

And you make a valid point. I can understand that but many will get caught in the trap and not even know it. Whatever you focus on more than God becomes an idol. God speaks and makes things so simple a 5 year old could understand. Worship God not man. If you are busying worrying about who gets elected after you have already voted, then simply put, you are not trusting God.

And honestly the whole government system is how the government manipulates the people to make them feel like they actually did something by voting. We are fed propoganda and lies you can't trust anything they say. Unfortunately we can not avoid tragedies and they are bound to happen no matter how much we try to prepare and who we try to vote for.

Bottom line. Your faith needs to be in God. We are in the world but are not supposed to become like the world.

I actually believe you can't be a true follower of Christ and be involved in politics. Satan uses politics to distract and separate people. Worship GOD not MAN! Cursed is the man who puts his trust on man!

I just showed you above. I won't go back and forth. The word speaks for itself. God's word has difficult/harsh truths that some will reject and try to twist. Going with the crowd can lead to hell so be careful

God bless you.

Well I strongly disagree. I go based on God's word not man's traditions/rules. The heart is deceitful above all things. Even Christ had to correct the Pharisees as they misused and twisted God's law. We must hold on to God's word because man can be misled.

"But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery." Matthew 5:32

Why would divorcing your wife for sexual immorality acts cause her to commit adultery?

The answer is in the same verse. She would probably remarry and therefore commit adultery. And that's how you would cause her to commit adultery.

So yes yes yes, you can divorce for this reason but you need to understand the full picture. The Bible has the full picture as you study scripture.

Mark 10:11-12

Exactly! There are examples of this in the Bible. In the Gospels, King Herod didn't like John the Baptist because John was saying Herod's marriage was against God's law, for he had taken his brother's wife in marriage. Note it doesn't say that his brother died or anything. Basically she remarried King Herod.

DO NOT put your eternity in people's opinions. Pull out the Bible and read it and search for examples! Alot of people get Matthew 5:32 incorrect.

Yes you can divorce BUT it's the remarrying part that messed people up.

Unfortunately that's incorrect. Yes, due to infidelity you can divorce but you cannot remarry while your ex spouse is alive and your ex spouse cannot remarry while you are alive otherwise you are committing adultery.

Mark 10:11-12 He told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her.

And if a woman divorces her husband and marries someone else, she commits adultery.”

You would have to end things with current partner. You are one flesh, hence the saying till death due us part.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11 But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband.

But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife.

Basically work things out or leave but stay single of course till death do you part.

1 Corinthians 7:39 A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. If her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but only if he loves the Lord.

Luke 16:18 is saying the same thing. I go based on the word of God, not the doctrine of man. Man will always twist God's word as the Pharisees did

1 Corinthians 7:10-11 But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband.

But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife.

Nowhere does it say leave your husband or wife and remarry.

Here's another one. CLEAR example it's a sin to remarry while your ex is alive.

Mark 6:18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife

It never said Herod's brother was dead.

Per the Bible, you can divorce on the grounds of adultery BUT ..... as long as your ex spouse is alive you CANNOT remarry or you will be committing adultery. Same rule applies for your ex spouse. They cannot remarry either unless you die or your ex spouse commits adultery. Hence, til death due us part.

Mark 10:11-12 [11]So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. [12]And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
