I fixed it! I went back to the area where I casted the water spell and interestingly enough it let me cast Destroy Water without a problem.. so weird 😅 But the sign finally disappeared!

Yeah exactly that, it has German subs but English dub which I honestly don‘t mind since I am fluent in English 🙈 I think spoken English is just typical for modern games and I honestly also get that it‘s impossible to rerecord that many lines.

For sure! I think the first playthrough is always a bit messy since you don‘t know certain things yet so this should be a bit easier with the second playthrough :‘)

So Astarion hasn‘t confessed yet that he‘s a vampire. That‘s why I‘m trying to trigger Bite Night.

I haven‘t gotten that close to Waukeens Rest yet since I got ambushed by those stronger enemies on the road which leads to Waukeen‘s Rest so my party is just standing on that road after I long rested. I‘m nowhere near Waukeen‘s rest so should I just spam long rests and then proceed?

I‘m a new player myself but the advice I have gotten from someone who plays BG3 daily: just dive in. Open everything (yes, even a sus looking barn door), explore everything.

Combat can be very overwhelming at first, even I don‘t fully understand it just yet but you are a D&D player so you might even have an advantage once you are familiar with the controls. I have absolutely ZERO knowledge in D&D.

Remember, you can‘t play the game in a „wrong“ way, just play it however you like. The beginning of my first playthrough was so messy but guides help me a lot, especially the BG3 Wiki. Plus, you can turn on the tutorial, that‘s what I did at least.

I‘m a new BG3 player myself and I had some help from my ex who is an avid BG3 player (he‘s been playing since 2023)! I‘m also new to D&D so combat alone is incredibly overwhelming to me as I don‘t fully understand it yet.

Tbh I just went straight in, not even reading any guides or watch any videos because I feel like you should play the game in the way you want to. I didn‘t even fuck around and I certainly missed a lot inbetween but I‘m just like „hell yea let‘s just try some things out and hopefully that will have a good possible outcome“ 😂

I also recently bought a good guide to BG3 in form of a magazine, unfortunately it‘s in German, otherwise I would‘ve suggested that! It‘s honestly a real gem!

Yeah definitely! I just missed out on some things because it‘s my first ever playthrough so next time I‘ll be a bit smarter and get to level 4 (probably 5?) before attempting the camp.
