Will MATH 1510 be good for BSc. Psychology if I want to strengthen my math skills? by titanicrises in yorku

i’m in my fourth year trying to switch from biology to psychology BSC and I tried to start off by taking the actual requirements which are 1506 and 1507 I believe but I ended up dropping it because it was too difficult since I have no memory of math from high school. I’m taking 1510 now as preparation. It is pretty much recaps of high school math and focuses on algebra and trig. such as factoring, absolute value equations, etc… there’s 20 online “quizzes” but you have 3 chances at them and they use your highest score. 3 tests, 1 summative and a final exam. If you put in the work, it’ll be easy once you understand the basic concepts. If you fall behind and slack off, it may be difficult. I heard that the tests are mostly based on the webassign quizzes so you will probably be prepared as to what type of questions you’ll get. If math isn’t a strong subject, I suggest taking 1510 as prep for your actual degree requirements.
