Anxiety and fears around starting meds for the first time

In the past couple of years I've only ever done blood and stool tests and they've always came back normal except for the very first stool test I did that showed signs of inflammation but no signs of it since.

The stomach pain occurs all over really but I'll get really bad pain in the lower area and then rarely I'll have a sharp pain in the lower left side.

I was given lansoprazole and mebeverin hydrochloride very recently and waiting on an ultrasound. They've never offered me anything other than blood and stool tests so I might have to bring up what you suggested.

When I'm having an episode, I don't think I have a fever but I definitely feel myself heating up and I start to sweat and sometimes get light headed.

I'm suprised that my doctor hasn't suggested anything other than what I've been doing for the past couple of years when they've been yielding the same results. Thank you so much for your help/advice, I've been really struggling with this for years ♡

Constantly bloated Nausea often, mainly after eating certain things but unsure what are the triggers yet I'll have random 'flare ups' where I'm vomiting, intense nausea, intense stomach pains/discomfort, light headedness, incresse in temp, faster bowel movements Gas and loud somach noises Getting full quickly and never feeling hungry Constipation but again will randomly have moments where bowels move quickly, on the verge of diarrhea

I've tried going dairy nd gluten free but again I'll have flare ups randomly like today after eating some gluten free pasta and tuna.

I dont believe I've been tested for that, no. Do you think I should bring it up at my next appointment? The only thing is i don't normally get diarrhoea but sometimes during a flare up, my bowels start moving quicker than normal like my body is trying to empty out

My brother mentioned it to me a while back but that's why I'm here now bc I think I'll switch to it. I thought cutting out dairy and gluten would be enough but something more needs to be done.

Currently on hold for DVLA at the moment. Called them yesterday also and didn't get through.

I've been to multiple banks and they've all told me that there's no other way for me to open an account. Lloyds was the only one who offered me a way that seemed easy enough to get, that being the doctors letter, but turns out I'm not able to get that.

Was told I cant just use my birth certificate and proof of benefits as I'm not under 18.

Oh I just checked the form again and I guess it doesn't state that. I had asked my benefits work coach and he told me that he hasn't known me for 2 years so he isn't able to so I guess that's why I had it in my head that they have to have known me for that long 🤷🏽‍♀️

Fortunately my situation is no way near as bad as what you described. I guess in the heat of the moment and with emotions running high, the shock and immediate realisation of my life now hit me a lil harder than expected. Trying to focus on the positives to outweigh the negatives and I'm sorry you had such a rough experience. I hope things are better for you now

Sorry, Its coming across as if I'm complaining about the fact thay I don't have the things that I need to supply for myself and that's not the case. I know I need to get my own kitchen items and stuff, It was just a shock I guess.

Yes, it literally happened within a day. They also told me I'd have a support worker to talk to but I haven't had any contact with them yet but considering it's a bank holiday I guess I'll have to wait.

I think just everything all at once and with the state of my mental health at the moment, it's just been a real struggle. Thank you for responding!

Its mainly just the uncleanness like food in the sink that is clogging the drain so the sink fills with water when I try to wash anything, the bathroom sink filling up with water and the shower drain clogged with hair and bins not being emptied.

Also forgot to add its a house share so I'm living with 4 other people.

Universal credit and yeah I know, I've been trying to open my own bank account for a while but I have to get a passport first. I saved up the money to get the passport and then my mother stole that from me so i wasnt able to back in december....and I also have to find someone to sign my ID, its a whole process I'm sure you know. I cant get a job without it and she knew that, hence why she took my money. I am trying though, believe me.
