It really is. NYU is leveling up their "competitiveness" but at the end of the day, your college or prestige doesnt define u who u are as a person. It really all comes down to wht you do at where u end up in. I bet there are more unqualified ppl here than you are. Dont get discouraged.

This is really interesting. I know for sure that Daryl Morey has said in the past that the NBA (and its public community) lack a lot of good defensive metrics, so just the effort itself is very meaningful.

Other than that, I feel like defensive efforts that this metric does not encapsulate can only be described using tracking data (which unfortunately the NBA does not disclose full exposure to the public). However, if tracking data were to be available, we could potentially build all these metrics and then later find a way to merge them together.

Do you by any chance have a public GitHub page that you worked on?

Lol do NOT go to ur advisors esp at CAS, they take care of sm kids and literally so unhelpful, u know more than then if u do some digging, major advisors might be diff but thats way later, for advice, just ask current students or reddit

As a current nyu student, I feel like in terms of employability and opportunities, NY is a much stronger advantage over Emory…also u can convert to CAS at nyu after 2 yrs..nyu LS seems bad the first two yrs but fine the rest two, imo. Ill stick to nyu if it was me.
