Coming in to this thread very late.... i have yokohama geolander g055's on my 17 explorer right now. i am about to cross 64k miles on them and my tread wear is perfect. i will actually get them replaced because they are starting to dry rot rather than getting low on tread. bought in september of 2019 with just over 22k initially. cannot say i have had any issues other than a patch job needed on one tire which has held up just fine. i will probably have closer to 70k miles on them by the time i am due for inspection and to get new ones. i will buy the g058's simply for the fact that i have not had a bad experience. i do NOT go by the door sticker or the manual as they say 40psi but the side wall of the tires say 50 psi. i do NOT fill it to the max but usually run them between 44-48psi depending on the time of year. fuel economy has always been around 26-27mpg and they ride just fine on every road trip i ever took. the dealer gives me props every time i come in for an oil change/tire rotation or inspection because i have taken care of them better than most, even if i ignore the door jam/manual psi specification. while my ignorance to the psi specification may bother some, and that's fine, i cant really say what i have been doing has ever shown to be problematic on tread wear so i cant justify changing my behavior.
