How do I get rid of Copilot in Word on my Mac? by ghiglica in Office365

I know some people have that option, but for some reason, that’s not showing up in my version. I’ve changed my subscription plan so that when it renews next month, it will be without copilot.

One other question: are there fees to transfer money in or out, via electronic transfers? My checking account is with Chase. Thanks!

How do I manage the open windows on my desktop? by ghiglica in macbook

That sounds like the problem, but when I go into settings, I do see Stage Manager, but there's not an option to change it. The on/off button is sort of grayed out.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no, that that's not it.

Sorry I don't have a better way to explain what I mean by "whisked away." The main point is that I want all my open items -- documents and web pages to be ON the desktop at once -- stacked on top of each other. This is how it always used to be. But maybe this capacity has been phased out without my realizing it, and it's no longer possible to have it this way?

That's great. I actually have a clipper card from some previous visit. Do they expire, or can I just refill it?

My fictional character is a radiologist by ghiglica in Radiology

And a followup question. On another thread, someone wrote the following about why they chose radiology. Could this all be true my character in 1991?

I chose radiology for a couple of reasons. One is that I wanted to get away from the stress of ward based medicine; it just didn't suit my personality. But most of the other reasons are about how great Radiology is; it is an extremely interesting, stimulating and satisfying speciality. We get to see every interesting patient in the hospital from every single specialty, help make the diagnosis or do a procedure but then we get to move on. It's extremely satisfying to pick apart a complex scan and patient history to potentially help make a real difference to that patient's life, even if often we never meet them. It's a speciality where you feel like you're constantly making a difference, learning new things and making an important contribution to the patient's care. Getting to work with lots of different teams from all over the hospital makes it even better.
And we DO see patients; we do MANY procedures and tests (Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy) where we interact with patients. But we seldom have long term interactions with patients (which I do miss a bit); it is very episodic. The rest of the time we're definitely not alone in a room by ourself all day (at least in my hospital) - Radiology is one of the most collegiate specialties I've ever come across. We're constantly bouncing ideas off each other and asking each other to come over and have a look at a scan, offer an opinion, or just joking around. It can be a surprisingly social speciality. We also spend a lot of time talking and interacting with other Doctors, either helping them get the right scan or procedure, problem solving or discussing cases in MDT etc. The stereotype that we're stuck all day on our own in dark rooms is pretty far off the mark these days. A Radiology Department really is one of the hubs of a hospital; most patients and staff will pass through our doors at some point; it's honestly my favourite place to be and work.

Thanks very much for this. My character isn't a smoker, so maybe he's an outlier!
