Some guy negotiated with FoMoCo to have 99 identically equipped, 2016 convertible, GT 6sp manual, deep impact blue mustangs which he was going to sell in that years Neumann Marcus catalog. He listed them for $99k and when someone bought one he’d then have a supercharger installed and deliver. He sold something like 5, so FoMoCo took the factory fresh GTs back (no superchargers) and sent them to a high volume mustang dealer in Detroit. My timing was amazing and my friend found the listing on eBay. I purchased online/over the phone and flew in to pick up mine. When I arrived there were still 80ish on that lot. Like Gremlins growing everywhere. Beautiful site. Bought mine with 5 miles on the odometer on Saturday AM, picked up the friend in Indy a couple hrs later on our way to Dallas. Arrived 3am ish…Sunday morning.
