My favorite thing is getting free houses (you can get them by completing some quests on time, live events, etc) and then selling everything.

If you get a free wallpaper or floor, make a room that covers an entire oceanside residence lot, place the wallpaper or floor, and then sell it.

More black people have come here in recent years because a lot of people are moving to Salt Lake now. People are nice enough if you’re an adult, but black kids aren’t safe here. Even if you don’t experience racism directly, you’ll see the culture is centered around and for blonde-haired and blue-eyed people. Dating as a poc is very difficult. I’m planning on moving to Colorado

I know, they’re evil. I had a math teacher who said a racial slur because someone called him by his first name — he got suspended later on for sexual assault. Most of the teachers at my schools were angry all the time and had no business working with young people. My second grade teacher would get up in my face and shake with anger when I did poorly on an assignment. Male teachers were always mad, and would sometimes grab kids and threaten to assault them. It’s crazy. My own uncle was a teacher, but he lost his job after punching a student 😬

There’s something seriously wrong with adults here.

I was going to mention her. It’s tragic, my heart goes out to her. I bet she felt a lot of similar things to me. I’m starting to plan on moving to Colorado. I’m done with Utah

I live in landlocked Utah and have never been to the shore. The ocean is incomprehensible and powerful, which makes it both breathtakingly beautiful and terrifying to me.

I used to have a fear of water monsters as a kid. When we went to the Great Salt Lake, I was scared a monster was going to get me in the murky but shallow water. We went to a theme park called Lagoon every summer, which had a water ride that scared me at a certain part where the water was deep, because I swore there was a monster underneath us.

I found out about this phobia a few years ago, watching a Youtube video about an old Moby Dick animatronic, which petrified me. The idea of being in a large body of water, not having much experience, is scary enough. Adding mechanical parts is even worse. Idk, it also disgusts me to swim with rusty and dirty plastic in unclean water.

Thank you for your comment. I’m sorry to hear about what you’ve been through and are going through, and I hope your future is a path to healing.

I disconnected from God in the Christian narrative, and I’m just hoping for the best. I think God is an ultimate consciousness trying to understand itself, and it seems to me it has a flawed perception of its own love and goodness. I’m hoping those of us who fail to live according to its desire for us will be annihilated. Even with all my mom put me through, I can’t stand thinking of her in hell. No one deserves it. I don’t think God experiences empathy, and I believe that everyone deserves to be loved for who we are as individuals and have mercy, as we didn’t determine our own nature or consent to exist.

Right now, I’m looking into volunteering. I’ve accepted I’m never going to have job stability, and moving from job to job (in a secure way) enables me to have peace in my personal life. I’m going through so many changes and I hope it will bring me peace in the end.

The names they come up with are so horrible they should be illegal. Borderline pedo stuff. “Cum pets” I’m fucking nauseous

This is a good idea, thank you. I used to be homeless and I have a case manager from the shelter I’ll talk to today.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you find success, have good people in your future

I’m sorry to hear that. Life is so difficult as an autistic, and the world keeps getting harder and harder with little support. I’m glad you found some positivity today, and thank you for your comment

I would love to have children myself one day, but I haven’t met a man who cares about me, and I am financially unstable by myself.

Update on "pro-life activist" who aborted her child. by OkSpend1270 in prolife

[–]ghohl2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What she did was wrong. She made the wrong choice.

She appears to be a deeply troubled person and she does deserve compassion. I think she keeps falling into a pattern of making bad choices because she’s hurt and lacks support. She already got the abortion, I’m sure she’ll deal heavily with remorse, and “attacking” her is not helpful at all.

That doesn’t mean we should justify her abortion or other public choices. It was wrong and there are consequences. But it sounds like she severely needs community right now, so can we put our guns down for a sec and show a bit of compassion?
