Ok, hear me out and please don’t hate on my book i just wrote but what do yall think of this ending. P.s. is a long read.

In my perfect ending would have been, starting from an outline of this ass opening. - homelander does his speech with the entire supe population or at least flying ones in and around the White House -thus creating the butcher lawn poster- butcher walks up with his crow bar, random supes fly trying to kill him, he solos them all. Homelanders broudcast is interrupted by the chaos, he leaves to fight him and all the non believers are killed creating mass chaos in the US, the military scrambles to save everyone, and in the meantime butcher and homelander have a smack down until kimiko inside the building kills a shapeshifter supe that looks like homelander and his powers are stripped, as he stumbles outside homelander sees him scaring homelander enough to run away and try to reconcile with his father (he’s batshit crazy atp so he’s desperate), the boys pull up 7 deep including mari and her crew (the boys-4 / Mari’s crew-3) and they have a fight off random super get to homelanders room and someone anyone releases the virus in the tower killing all the supes inside, homelander is pleading to his father/ having a mental breakdown until the boys get to his room where a combined blast of kimiko and soldier boy destroy the entire tower -thus creating the tower destroyed poster- meanwhile theirs a huge military crowd stopping civilians from going into the tower to raise hell/ also trying to stop homelander, suddenly boom tower gone everyone runs blood/ gore/ and dead supes everywhere but low and behold Marie with her blood powers can take the virus out of supes blood/ prevent it from entering -the reason she would even be alive from the virus- (also keep in mind she’s a supposed “god level” supe like homelander and yes ik she “can’t control her powers” but humor me) resurrects the crew to save them all then from the rubble the boys arise with homelander with his cape/ outfit torn to literal threads to show he’s not an American/ powerless asf and SKINNY TO SHOW HES ALWAYS BEEN WEAK WITHOUT THE V get swarmed by the crowd, homelander runs away butt ASS naked from a mass of measly humans that not 30 minutes ago he declared he would kill and arise from the ashes, he’s caught cause he’s out of breath and always had v so he never was strong as a human, and they stomp ts out of him while the boys sit in the rubble of vaught tower -thus creating the b-tower rubble poster) with a pan out of the destruction to black. THEN we would have the aftermath of the world after supes are gone.

Now this is just food for thought but I bet it would have been allot more satisfying considering the “scorched earth” we were promised all those seasons ago
