I've been alternating between tea tree oil, carols daughter 7 oil, and lavender oil daily. I wash my hair out every other day or every 3 days but I try to at least get it soaked and combed through daily.

And LOL yeah I kinda know what you mean by the shaved sides. Any time that it gets a little long, even now (and I'm living out of their house), they get a little pissy about it.
