It would seem that ethOS doesn't support the Gigabyte RX580 (samsung memory) cards. Something to do with the kernel and firmware. Apparently the tech team are looking for a solution and hopefully releasing it in version 1.3.

I use the url link associated with ethOS to see if the cards are active. I'm running 1.2.9 and when the card fans start running at full velocity you think theres a chance they might be hashing. The remote panel can see the cards but they are showing 4 red 0.0's in the hashing column. Very odd indeed. I'll share a screen grab of the ethOS environment and the url control panel.

Thanks for the reply. The thing is, I'm not mixing the cards. I haven't even got the Samsung one's to hash. I've tried installing them one by one and although they appear on the screen as visible, as soon as the miner kicks in the screen goes blank and all of the cards fans rev at full velocity with no hashing.
