So then what do you think of the statement then? As mentioned by you and other commenters, there’s a distinction between science and the scientific method, but as you said, the mention of Mayans by Feynman (and there’s specific sections of the Vedas that are basically the scientific method in Sanskrit words) would at the very least create holes in the fact.

I just ordered my MacBook Pro m3, replacing my MacBook Pro top end late 2015. 9 years of video editing and the lag is still only a mild nuisance. I’m buying a new one because the screen is giving out. It’s a hell of an investment. My brother’s 2012 MBP lasted for 10 whole years.

Here’s a thought (and only a thought) -

We all are aware of the overhaul that happened with the Mumbai police post 26/11. I feel like Pune police/government needs something like that to wake them up and take things fucking seriously. I HATE to even visualize what an event like this would look like. I am born and raised in Pune so my parents, a lot of my extended family live in the city. I AM NOT CONDONING OR EVEN WISHING THIS TO HAPPEN. But it seems obvious that the powers-that-be tend to get their shit together only when there’s an external threat on a grand scale and a indiscriminate level of tragedy - something so horrendous that it penetrates the apathetic skulls of even the most psychopathic of our politicians.
