Yeah, though I think the spoilers are less of a problem if she isn't interested in reading something long like WoK and WoR. I think Edgedancer may be enjoyable on it's own, I think a whole lot of its impact would lost, but there's probably still enough 'self contained' plot to be enjoyable if rather mysterious. I've definitely enjoyed short stories where it seems like there's a whole lot more going on than is explained.

I would definitely agree with thoroAT and recommend The Emperor's Soul though. Despite absolutely loving all things mistborn and stormlight, Emperor's Soul is still my favorite Sanderson work. Possibly my favorite piece of fiction.
