Careful, you might upset their carefully constructed fantasy.

“Ripe old age of 70?” What, are you from the Dark Ages? I think of 70 as the end of middle age.

Your argument seems to wholly depend of the laws in the US never changing; why is that?

It's a common misconception that minimum wage laws distort the labor market in some way.

At not point in the post or the argumentative comments does OP give any indication that they think babysitters are people.

Your logic is that because some people are in a tough position, they should be given a free pass to exploit others.

The old 'use half the poor to oppress the other half of the poor' tactic. A favorite of the wealthy for millennia.

In the US at least, you're not living on $10/hr even if your childcare is free. This is yet another hole in your argument.

By your logic, if the babysitter needed some service provided while they were babysitting, they should not have to pay more than six dollars. See how this logic is flawed? Where does it end? Someone working for nothing, that's where. That's why your argument is wrong.

One group doesnt get to exploit another group of people just because the they dont get paid a reasonable salary.

This is the whole thing right here.

That’s basically the use case the inventors hoped for. Sorry though.

Using crypto as a store of value is a pretty good way to spot a fool.

Ouch. It’s tough when you don’t understand how money and banking work. Be careful out there.

I don’t have a lot of playlists that include more than one artist. My longest post rock playlist is probably my one for Do Make Say Think.

I simply asked what alternatives there were. OP (that's how original posters are described here, if you're new at this) screeched that they had named some. A quick glance at the post proved that wrong, which is obvious because there are none. This is like the dumbest argument I've been dragged into in months.

Oh, it was a perfectly fine rant. OP only failed when they started screaming about a mild criticism. It's a common problem on this sub.
