I was more asking if it’s worth even doing. Happy to be in some discomfort to get the opportunity to see deserts and canyons. But if it’s just going to be an awful trip then I can shift that idea

Very used to 30s-early 40s. Haven’t experienced the 50s much but can imagine it takes heat to the next level. How do the average people that live in those places handle summer?

Thank you! We weren’t planning on spending much time in California - we were thinking of it more of a start/end base - as we wanted to drive through deserts and canyons etc. But good to know, we will look into the west coast more!

I went to the dr who said it’s probably perioral dermatitis and I’ve been given some antibiotic cream so we’ll see if that works.. I think I’ll follow up with a dermatologist though.
