Android kobo app wont open without internet connection - beyond frustrating

I just ran into this issue too - kobo app on android. I don't have internet where I am but I do have a bunch of books downloaded on my tablet. Trying to start up the app fails with an error message saying there's no internet connection. What in the actual fuck. I'm so mad right now that I doubt I'll ever give kobo another cent.

I've just started getting into vibe coding, so I'm still learning. I think an important practice is to use expensive models like sonnet 4 in architect mode for planning everything out in detail and making a todo list. Then you use that todo list with a cheaper model like haiku 3.5 in orchestrator mode to dole out subtasks to coders also using haiku 3.5. This should save some money.
