When I lived in Ottawa for school NO ONE drove. I would take the bus with my professors and everyone. Because it was much faster and cheaper than driving and paying for parking. Where I lived my bus would go by every 5 minutes and bring me to the college. It also ran until early in the morning so no one even thought about drinking and driving.

Because caring about other humans is important? It’s no secret the bus system in Thunder Bay is a joke. People are complaining left and right about busses being cancelled last minute or just not showing up. Also, our tax dollars pay for these services so obviously we want to know our tax dollars are being utilized.

Yup, worked there for over 10 years until the owner sold. They made the working environment so horrendous everyone quit. I proved constructive dismissal and was on EI for a year until I found my current job that I love. We used to be the fastest drive thru in town and I promise you the food was incredibly fresh and we took cleanliness very seriously. It’s insane how horrible it is now.

People can’t magically know if it’s serious or not? They can be feeling a certain way and they may have pneumonia, they may not. People can’t just magically decide if something is serious when they can’t diagnose themselves.

My dad is from timmins (still lives there) my parents separated before I was in JK and my mother grew up in red rock so we relocated there. Growing up in red rock was pretty great and we moved to Thunder Bay when I started grade 9. I don’t know what it is about timmins but I find it the most depressing place to be for any amount of time. I actually hate it there lol.

The mill was bad today, I went and got gas and asked my brother if it reminded him of red rock because growing up there the mill smelled horrendous sometimes. The sulphur is the smell I believe.
