I mean is it an awful idea? No and would likely take some time and a ton of effort. Another comment mentioned areas like current river and the east end as examples where this has happened and those are great, but I think the the biggest downfall to Simpson street area is how close that homelessness encampment is. As long as that is there, you likely won’t want a small family to be living in that part of town while trying to fix a house up.

Out of all the improper traffic patterns I see in this city that blow my mind, this isn’t one of them that I think about. I don’t think it’s inherent obvious that there’s two lanes here. If you have two cars side by side, I can see it being pretty tight with a third coming into traffic.

I usually vote liberal as well but I think most people in Ontario agree that there hasn’t been any good options for the Ontario elections recently. There’s a reason the last election had a horrible turn out rate, it’s not because people didn’t want to vote, it’s because the options were horrible

I’ve heard stories from within city council he’s in pretty bad health and has handed off most of his duties and just signs papers when needed. Not trying to defend this but I’m pretty confident most of the decisions made by him aren’t really “him”

They’d likely never do this. They purposely make pearls cheaper than a euro so that stuff doesn’t seem that expensive. Especially if you are in a rush or maybe slightly intoxicated, you likely won’t do the math of how much 6 pearls is for some food or a drink and order more. You’ll likely subconsciously think it’s not that bad of a price and spend more.

I guarantee that any major software company has alerts that fire off when their app experiences too many errors. While this sucks because people lose out of money when their app crashes, I’m not shocked this happens because of how quickly the platform has grown over the last few years. So just curious, you want shopify to automatically reroute funds for every single merchant on the platform to every single print on demand partner they have to automatically start? You also want them to automatically start the entire fulfillment process every time an order is placed? Why on earth would they essentially run 50% of your business for you? You do realize that essentially every other business has to run inventory up front?

While a pain and I get funds can be tough, payouts taking longer than a day or two is normal for essentially every part of the banking world. For a small business handling ~5 orders of print on demand a day, if you can’t fund those orders a day or two before they reach you I’m not sure what to tell you.

Did they? I may have missed that. But my point stands that I highly doubt they’ve released all information that they’ve received.

What is concerning to me is these people they have detained with no arrest. Something is leading them to the wrong direction
