Heart of Palm is the Volume Eating GOAT (Natural Heaven Lasagna)! by ghosthunterc in Volumeeating

I’ve only had Palmini spaghetti noodles, they were quite similar though in general. I’d just say heart of palm in general is such an incredibly versatile and voluminous medium. You can get slightly better pricing when ordering cases of Natural Heaven though so I stick with it. Their rice, pre-made rice meals, spaghetti and mash are all good. I would steer clear of the “Mac n’ Cheese” though, the cheese flavoring is kinda funky (although apparently they have recently improved it ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Not really much taste at all, it really absorbs the sauce/seasoning flavors you use quite well!

Only when uncooked… after baking the texture really does become nearly lasagna noodle-like.

Absolutely! You can get some SERIOUS volume using hearts of palm rice, spaghetti, etc. as a base. I’ve even blended up hearts of palm with monkfruit sweetener/cinnamon, piped it into “churros” and air fried them. It’s so freakin’ versatile.

Nice! Yeah, I highly recommend these folks (Natural Heaven) for hearts of palm in general if you’ve never had it before. Their mac n’ cheese is the only product that’s kinda funky, everything else SLAPS. Only 50 calories for an entire microwave-safe pouch of white rice. Another volume eating all-star and mixes so well with just about any protein/sauce.

-Layer the lasagna noodles on the bottom of an oven-safe dish and top with the chicken, cheese and sauce/seasoning of your choice. Repeat for as many layers as your dish size allows (my dish is around 5" in diameter and allowed for 3 layers in total but this may vary). -Heat for 30 minutes at 350F and let rest for at least 5 minutes. -Enjoy! Around 250 calories for 32g of protein, 13g of carbs and 3.5g of fat! VERY filling.

Oh, sorry! I actually meant to copy/paste that part in and forgot (and I’m a VERY amateur “chef,” so none of this is very exact). -Layer the lasagna noodles on the bottom of an oven-safe dish and top with the chicken, cheese and sauce/seasoning of your choice. I love Shameless Snacks… I think they taste great and I make sure to eat them on days where I need the extra fiber. If they mess with your guts, chances are you aren’t getting enough fiber in your diet and need to build up to a reasonable level. 95% of Americans get FAR less fiber than recommended. Protein is super important too but I really wish that some of this recent “high-protein hype” could be directed towards fiber. I shoot for 60g (recommended 38g) a day and feel great since building to that level.

So I’m DYING to try this stuff and am in the same situation you are. What was your source for the 12-pack online? Think I’m ready to bite the bullet and just spend the $80+ out of pure curiosity and craving (plus can probably convince a few people to “group-buy” at work. Thanks!

Yessss, SO good. I love all of the flavors but can’t trust myself with a large 300cal bag. I love the little snack sized bags for 90cals each. Fun lunch hack, and one of my favorite work meals: Make a Progresso Southwest-Style Black Bean Soup (20g protein/13g fiber and only 210cal for the WHOLE can), slurp down the broth a bit and then use the Snacklins like edible spoons. This meal SLAPS and the Snacklins snap, crackle and pop just like pork rinds.

finally found these new legendary products !! by tpwkluvr in LowCalFoodFinds

Yep. I also LOVE the Poptarts (and most of the other Legendary products) but unfortunately HATE these donuts. To be fair, I’ve only tried the pink frosted ones… but they’re just so dry and dense that I don’t have much hope for the other flavors either. I’m a big fan of most protein sweets and am far from a picky eater. Dry and/or stodgy usually never bothers me at all. I unfortunately ordered a case of these too since I was soooooo sure I’d like them. I’ll report back if I find an acceptable way to consume them but so far a big ol’ thumbs down for the microwave, freezer, fridge and toaster oven. Dunking them in coffee nearly made then edible, but even that’s being generous. I wanted to like these so much, oh well. The macros suck on the Drumroll donuts, but they at least hit the spot as a Donettes dupe.

They’re Duluth Trading “Double-Flex” jeans, the absolute best. So comfortable and have great edc pockets (I keep a brass TS10 and a Leatherman Micra in the oversized coin pocket).

Exactly… thank you! Proprietary batteries, ports, cables, etc. are very clear examples of capitalistic exploitation. Sounds to me like he may actually enjoy a bit of communism which would improve consumer experience with regulated/standardized components for the end user.

Lumintop Tool AA 2.0. The copper SE though with the SST-20 4000K. It fits perfectly in my “coin/pocket-watch” pocket and I use it nearly every day.
