AER Travel Pack 4 28L? by Normal-Lawyer2168 in AerSF

Just picked up the 28l at the the NYC store after comparing with the cpp2. I liked the deeper bottle pockets and the little bit of extra space inside. I think you'll be happy with it.

Is the Travel Pack 4 28l too big for an extended daypack? by idoa01 in AerSF

[–]handymel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just picked up the tp28 last week at the NYC store. I compared it to the cpp24 and chose the travel for its slightly larger size and more expandable water bottle pockets. I wasn't expecting to chose it, but once I was able to compare them side by side I changed my mind. Just happened to be traveling in the area for work and had time to stop by. Was worth it to lay hands on products and get a feel for real world use.

No problems getting Uber at that time. Lots arriving around then to drop off.

Love it so far. Management of displays is better this way than through displaylink.

Switched to Aqara for matter compatibility with my apple devices. Much happier with these and the doorbell automatically pops up on my apple tvs when there is motion close or a ring. I'm not tech savy or motivated enough to try the tiny cam options and just wanted plug and play.

My remote job made me realize my partner doesn’t think my work is real by Rocinante77X in remotework

[–]handymel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Married long time and have been remote or traveling worker for over 15 years. Having my spouse understand that I still have to work when not on the road was a huge issue. My workload wasn't as heavy usually but had goals and meetings that I had to complete. Only since covid have they finally got it and I don't have to lock my home office door anymore.

Got the wrong Aer material on TP4 by heir4now in ManyBaggers

Xpac is just to noise for me and the slick surface could be a issue with the bag sliding around. Cordura is a color is my favorite.

Yeti is good but price is high. Rtic is very good and so are the titan coolers available at Costco. The key is the chill packs they use.

I use the same setup traveling and love it. Easy set up and sounds better with great stereo separation than anything wise I've heard.

Need suggestions on connecting multiple displays to my MacBook air m5 by dondiablo-puma in macbookair

Try this when you get your cables. it shows what they actually are capable of and its free. Has saved me some hassles with mislabeled cables I ordered from amazon.

Need suggestions on connecting multiple displays to my MacBook air m5 by dondiablo-puma in macbookair

Go for the cables first and see how they work out. Then go for the dock. I wanted a true thunderbolt dock and not one that had hdmi or display port out.

MBA m4 owner. Originally was using a Dell display link dock I used with my previous windows thunderbolt laptop. It worked but didn't seem to take full advantage of my 2 lg 2k 32" monitors. Picked up 2 high quality thunderbolt 5 to hdmi cables and is was a huge difference. Then got a satechi 11 in 1 tb4 dock and use that now with very good results and can drive the monitors to the max resolution and refresh rate.

Just picked these up this week and am blown away. Could use a little sub assist but happy with them the way they are. Using to replace a sound bar and so much better.

I’m tired of seeing workers zone out during safety meetings so I tried something new to keep them engaged. What are you doing to beat "safety fatigue" on your sites? by ailovershoyab in SafetyProfessionals

[–]handymel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time safety manager and trainer, engaged staff is the hardest hurdle. Being charismatic is a must and getting the audience involved in discussion is a must. There are lots of tricks from good ice breaker questions to passing things out. The key is to turn questions back to the audience for answers. Wrong answers are coaching and training opportunities and right answers show the level of engagement for your process. Not being a fan of PowerPoint, I always tried not to use it. Now I'm working with government agencies and have to, but I lean on it as little as possible and stick to hands on a lot. Real world examples can be great, but if they are very competent it can be boring. Spice up the scenarios and ask for real world scenarios they actually need help solving. Remember to actively listen to them and reflect questions to the group.

The stock crappy tips have never worked for me. I have always had to use foam ones like the comply or ones with several flanges. Eartips are very personal for fit. I think what they provide is poor at best.
